Le Artisan de Paris
This was a series of photos I took while studying photography in Paris. The brief was to find and photograph someone who worked in the traditional manner of times past before manufacturing took on its global production scale that it has today. He is an upholsterer who repairs and re covers old furniture all by hand. He once spent two weeks in North Korea teaching his trade to a group of local tradesmen there.
